FTS Hatswell are franchised distributers for Pall-Ex

FTS Hatswell was formed in November 2002 by the merger of two long established transport companies, Flintshire Transport Services and Hatswell International, to create the largest and most efficient transport company in the area.

The merger was a seamless and natural progression after the two companies had worked together for a number of years - in many cases servicing the same clients. Both companies had been heavily involved in international transport, but now concentrate mainly on UK distribution for their blue chip clients. The merger created a perfect synergy marrying together Flintshires' expertise in temperature controlled distribution with Hatswells mainly curtainside fleet. The time since the merger has been spent replacing the fleet and investing in IT to enable us to gain new contracts.

During 2003 FTS Hatswell became members of the Pall-ex network and opened our ambient storage facility on Deeside Industrial Park, so enabling us to provide the complete logistics solutions for our customers.

The heart of any logistics company are the staff, and to ensure that our staff remain the best in the business we have established, together with PRL Training, our own in house training company, PRL Training Flintshire Ltd. This enables us to train not only our own staff, but also to give comprehensive training to newcomers to the industry. This new training centre has received accreditation from City & Guilds and Skills for Logistics.

The combined fleet now exceeds 100 vehicles and we can deliver your goods in a range of trucks from Transit vans to 44 t articulated units.

We use the latest technology to manage our fleet and make sure your goods get to their destination on time. During 2002 we joined the Pall-Ex network and are franchisees for the Chester / North Wales area.
